PLTMG 250 MW Sumbagut 2
We operate the Sumbagut 2 Gas Engine Power Plant with a capacity of 250 MW, the largest gas engine power plant in Indonesia utilizing the latest gas engine generator set technology. Located in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, this power plant was developed to support the growing electricity demand from both households and industries across the Northern Sumatra region, including Aceh and North Sumatra.
From 2020 to 2025, Sewatama has been responsible for the operation and maintenance of this power plant, ensuring reliable and efficient power generation to support regional economic growth. During this period, the project received various PROPER Awards from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, recognizing its commitment and achievements in environmental management and sustainable operational practices.
PLTMG Kupang Peaker 2
Sewatama operates and maintains the 40 MW Kupang Peaker Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG), in East Nusa Tenggara. PLTMG Kupang Peaker is a National Strategic Project as a solution to meet a great hope of NTT people, especially on the island of Timor, to continuously have electricity.

Since 1992, Sewatama has been delivering reliable power generation solutions through the operation of diesel power plants (PLTD) equipped with generator sets ranging from 1,000 kVA to 2,000 kVA across Indonesia. These power plants provide stable and continuous electricity supply to support industrial operations and energy needs in various regions.
As part of its commitment to a more sustainable future, Sewatama's power generation units are capable of operating with B50 biodiesel fuel, supporting the national energy transition agenda while maintaining operational reliability. With total power generation assets approaching 300 MW, Sewatama continues to play a vital role in delivering dependable energy solutions that support economic growth and national development.
