Sewatama has Received Recertification ISO 45001:2018

PT Sumberdaya Sewatama has once again received the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) certificate from the British Standards Institution (BSI) Indonesia after successfully completing the recertification audit. Previously, since 2014, Sewatama had obtained the OHSAS 18001 certificate before transitioning to ISO 45001. The certificate was presented directly by Nolia Natalia, the Country Manager of BSI Indonesia, to Suryantoro Prakoso, the President Director of PT Sumberdaya Sewatama, in Jakarta in May 2023.

ISO 45001:2018 is an international standard that establishes various requirements for the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems, also known as SMK3. This standard encourages organizations to actively improve the performance of their SMK3 as part of their efforts to prevent workplace accidents. ISO 45001 is intended to be applicable and relevant across various types of organizations and companies. The various requirements within ISO 45001 are intended to be integrated into the organization's occupational health and safety management system.

During the year 2022, a total of 2,250,944 safe manhours were recorded by PT Sumberdaya Sewatama. There were no fatalities or lost time injuries, resulting in zero accidents. The achievement of zero accidents or zero lost time injuries is the outcome of a hazard control process, ensuring that accidents do not occur.
