Sewatama's Month of People: Cultivating a Culture of Learning

In his book, Good to Great, Jim Collins states, "Great vision without great people is irrelevant." This sentence implies that no matter how good a company's goals are, they will be futile without competent and highly dedicated employees to achieve them. Employees are truly the 'core energy' of an organization.

Understanding this, Sewatama is bringing back the 'Month of People 2025' after a hiatus of several years. Carrying this year's theme, "Empowering People, Strengthening People," the program is scheduled to run for a full month, starting from November 5, 2025, until December 4, 2025.

In the address delivered at the opening ceremony, the Board of Directors of PT. Sumberdaya Sewatama stressed that this event should foster a culture of learning within every individual employee by sharing experiences and knowledge and giving birth to new innovations.

In line with this message, each week during the Month of People 2025 will focus on a different, yet complementary, theme. It begins with Learning Week in the first week, followed consecutively in the second through fourth weeks by Risk Week, HSE Week, and Improvement Week.

All activities are packaged in various engaging formats, such as thematic competitions, sharing sessions with practitioners and internal experts, awareness campaigns, and giving appreciation for the best ideas. This initiative reflects the spirit of Sewatama's Human Capital in building a healthy, adaptive work environment that values the contribution of every individual.

Through the Month of People 2025, Sewatama aims to provide a meaningful experience for all employees, encouraging them to continue to grow, collaborate, and be proud to be part of the company's journey. Because we believe, when employees grow, the company's culture strengthens. And when the culture strengthens, Sewatama takes a further step towards a sustainable future.
