From Process To Performance

Developing a culture of continuous improvement is the cornerstone for achieving sustainable Operational Excellence. Through the Sewatama Improvement Culture (SIC), PT Sumberdaya Sewatama (“Sewatama”) embeds the spirit of Continuous Improvement, grounded in Lean Six Sigma principles, to enhance performance, productivity, creativity, and process efficiency across all business operations.

1. Measurable and Structured System

SIC evolves from the Sewatama Improvement Program (SIP), which has been in place since 2010. The new framework transforms improvement initiatives into a measurable, structured system, ensuring the culture is not just practiced but deeply ingrained.

Every step is designed to reduce process variation, improve quality consistency, and strengthen core business processes under the umbrella of Operational Excellence. Because in performance management, what gets measured gets improved.

2. Data-Driven Improvement

Data and objective analysis power SIC initiatives. Cross-functional teams assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Process Outputs (KPOs) to identify root causes of inefficiencies.

This fact-based approach ensures that every improvement delivers real impact: boosting productivity, optimizing cost efficiency, and enhancing service quality for our customers. We act on facts, not assumptions.

3. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

Continuous improvement thrives on teamwork. Through Improvement Competitions, Knowledge Sharing Sessions, and Best Practice Forums, employees collaborate to build a learning organization that is agile, innovative, and responsive.

By breaking down silos and sharing insights, Sewatama accelerates collective learning and drives company-wide innovation.

4. Leadership Commitment and Empowerment

Sustaining improvement requires strong leadership. Sewatama’s leaders act as change agents: fostering ownership, empowering teams, and recognizing every contribution toward process excellence.

This approach nurtures a result-driven culture where collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth become the other nature.

Through these four pillars, Sewatama continues to grow through measurable systems, innovate through collaboration, and achieve Operational Excellence through an efficient, adaptive, and high-performance culture.
