Sewatama Improvement Champions 2025

Process improvement is not solely the domain of the back office. This was clearly proven by the submission of 27 improvement initiatives to the Sewatama Improvement Culture (SIC) 2025.

The data highlights strong engagement from the Gemba (the place where work is done): out of the 27 ideas registered via the 2025 SIC Committee, 4 originated from the Head Office, 1 from the Depot, and a staggering 22 came from frontline teams stationed at various Sewatama sites.

This year’s SIC Award 2025 spanned a rigorous two-month cycle. It commenced with the submission of Project Improvement Papers, followed by a selection phase, and culminated in the finalists' presentations and the awards ceremony on December 4, 2025, at PT Sumberdaya Sewatama Head Office.

The competition showcased innovations that delivered a significant impact on workflows and service delivery. Two key categories were highlighted:

1. Quick Wins: Focused on rapid improvements with immediate, tangible results.

2. Breakthroughs: Focused on large-scale, sustainable step-changes in performance.

Following a strict evaluation by the jury—comprising Sewatama’s Top Management—the 2025 innovation champions were selected. Here are the winners:
